Ann's Cottage started as a small shop which was part of a petrol filling station in Polzeath, selling and renting out boards and equipment to the early surfing pioneers, as well as providing beachwear to the holiday makers coming to enjoy the glorious beach and gentle waves of Polzeath. When the filling station shut down its pumps in the 90's Ann's Cottage Surf Shop was extended and became hugely popular. Now Ann's Cottage has branched out accross Cornwall and has become one of the largest retailers of surf wear and accessories for men, women, girls, boys and toddlers in Cornwall. Ann's Cottage now has 8 surf shops around Cornwall. We take pride in having shops located near all the main surfing spots: Fistral, Polzeath & Bude, along with stores in popular towns such as Wadebridge, Padstow and Falmouth. We also have two stores in St Columb which includes our Clearance Warehouse and the Cornwall Surf Centre which is home to the largest collection of surf wear brands and stock. This is one of the biggest surf shops in the country, your one stop shop for all your surfing needs.
Our first website started in 2006, with our new updated website going live in October 2011. This website has been created in the spirit of the original surfshop. To not just provide the best quality surf wear, brands, clothing, and accessories for everyone - but to be a surfers resource for everything that it means to be a surfer. As a result this site includes features like our surf cams, that we hope you will return to time and time again. So get stuck in to the site, have a browse and we hope you'll come back very soon!
