From what began as an idea to supply durable clothing to miners during the height of the California Gold Rush in the mid 1800s, to the global leader in fashion it is today, the historic journey of Levi’s is one which remains true to its roots to this very day, producing stylish yet durable clothing for everyone. Much has happened since Levi Strauss enlisted the help of tailor Jacob Davis in 1873 when they combined copper rivet reinforcements with tough denim, leading to the first manufactured waist overalls – today we call them ‘blue jeans’.
